Our grade II listed former stables have been tastefully transformed to 4 ensuite bed and breakfast rooms, each complete with their own unique style and quirky original features.
Enjoy cosy interiors boasting complimentary WIFI, smart TVs and locally made toiletries. Sleep peacefully on a comfortable mattress with crisp Egyptian cotton sheets and snuggle up under our luxurious goose down feather duvets. Each room is equipped with a Nespresso machine for your morning coffee and a few tasty, local treats!

A stones throw from the Jurassic coast and surrounded by acres of farm land, you won't be short of things to do both on land and by the sea when staying with us at The Cotley. We are conveniently located with accessible reach to the A303 make escaping London even easier. Better still leave the car at home and hop on the GWR service out of Waterloo, we'll pick you up from the station in Axminster, making your rural escape even more relaxing.

Please be kindly advised that the pub is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and therefore we can currently only offer a room-only rate on Sunday and Monday nights.

Spacious doubles - Both of our spacious double bedrooms have king size beds and are dog friendly. Sleep peacefully under goose down feather duvets and enjoy complimentary toiletries inspired by the Somerset countryside.
The best 'seat in the house!' The Holt is the largest of our four rooms. Set over two floors this stylish barn conversion boasts a king size bed with a roll top bath set within the bedroom & a spacious living area. The comfortable sofa can be made into a double bed as somewhere for the kids to crash for a small additional charge.

Pared back, comforting interiors with views onto the gravel courtyard. Enjoy sinking into a comfortable king size bed and take advantage of our white fluffy towels, making your escape from home even more luxurious. The Den has a sofa bed too if you have the little ones with you.
Dinky doubles - Our two dinky doubles feature all the lovely extras you'd expect just with a little less room
A perfectly sized 'nest' for a romantic escape or a comfortable solo break. Enjoy waffle dressing gowns and snuggle down under the soft sheets after a long days walking across the Blackdowns.
Indulge in the delights from the pub kitchen and stumble back to your bed, just a stones throw away, after a tipple or two.

Don't forget about Drey! This quirky room has an original beam running through both the bedroom and bathroom and the beautifully restored, exposed stone helps you to fully appreciate this rural escape.
Enjoy our smart TVs from the comfort of your bed or enjoy the stillness of the early morning light with a coffee in the courtyard. The entrance to this room is made via a very dinky door, but once you are in the room, you can enjoy high ceilings and a light and airy space.
Dogs

We love dogs at The Cotley Inn, and understand how much of an integral part of the family they really are. The Den & The Holt are both dog friendly and we charge £15 per stay just to cover the extra housekeeping.
Unfortunately it's not practically possible to have dogs in The Nest or The Drey and we need to be able to guarantee totally pet free rooms to our guests who may have allergies!
